About Me

An Arsenal fan since the early 90's, the key moments which grabbed me were Seaman's penalty saves against Sampdoria in the semi-final of the 94-95 Cup Winners Cup, quickly followed by the pain of defeat to that Nayim goal in the last minute of extra-time in the final. Things seemed to change quickly after that, with the arrival of Rioch and, more importantly, Bergkamp, and then Wenger... I've been hooked ever since.

For me, it's those painful moments, as well as the moments of success, which have strengthened my bond with Arsenal Football Club.

My favourite players have been:

1. Dennis Bergkamp - I will never forget his hat-trick against Leicester City. I love that he was so consistently effective, and yet his game was not about his physical attributes; he was a pure footballer of elegance, balance and vision. The ultimate professional and loyal to Arsenal, I feel privileged to have watched this man play football.
